Privacy information

Customer reviews

When you submit a review, we store the name, town or area, star rating, review text and submission date that you provide. Steve reads submissions before deciding whether to publish them. Approved reviews display your name, area, rating and comments publicly. Please do not include private contact details or information about other people.

Submitting a review is optional. We use this information to share customer feedback and manage the review service. Reviews remain stored until removed; you can contact Steve to request removal.

Website security

Cloudflare hosts the website and stores reviews. It processes technical connection information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the service. The application stores a temporary keyed hash derived from an IP address to limit repeated submissions and sign-in attempts; it does not store the raw IP address in the review database. These temporary records are cleared during subsequent review submissions after they are more than 24 hours old.

Cookies and fonts

The owner sign-in uses an essential secure session cookie lasting up to eight hours. Signing out clears that cookie. The website does not add advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which receives connection information when your browser loads them.
